Celebrated each year in February, this ceremony honours the Buddha's Parinirvana, the day of his death or final entry into nirvana. The ceremony this year is held on a Sunday morning, with sitting starting at the usual time. After sitting there is chanting and a reading from the Mahaparinibbana Sutta.
